Bill B. Baker was raised in Marion, Guadalupe County, Texas by parents in the public education field. He grew up in a rural setting with family and extended family who farmed and ranched. Upon graduation from Marion High School and Southwest Texas State University, Bill spent the next 35 years working for Farm Credit in various capacities, specializing in all aspects related to farm and ranch real estate. The majority of that time he served as President of the Edna Credit Office of Capital Farm Credit. While Bill was based on the Texas Gulf Coast, he was also fortunate to have the opportunity in his tenure to work throughout all of Texas and New Mexico.
Upon Bill’s retirement from Farm Credit in early 2017, he formed Encina Services, LLC (Encina). Encina offers personalized services utilizing his extensive knowledge of rural property. Bill's knowledge and experience in the rural real estate arena has proven to be an invaluable asset for his past and present clients. With that knowledge in mind he obtained his real estate Sales Agent license thus enabling Bill the opportunity to provide his clients a full range of services related to real estate.
Bill enjoys a 40-year history of volunteer work within his community. He is currently serving as Mayor of the City of Yorktown. Bill and his wife Charlotte reside in Yorktown, Texas.
